Dr. Peter Mossack

Director of Dr. Mossack GmbH

Dr. Mossack is a very experienced top manager in the international T industry. Before founding is own business consultancy he was managing director with Nemetschek AG in Munich, responsible for the area research and development. Previously he was managing director with Software AG in Darmstadt, also responsible for the area research and development.

Under his responsibility products like TAMINO, the worldwide first XML database, and EntireX, a strategic middleware product of Software AG, were developed. Under his direction also the products Natural Expert, the worldwide first tool for the creation of expert systems on the basis of a functional language connected to commercial databases, und EntireDB, the first commercial entity-relationship database were developed.

As managing director of SA Software Associates GmbH he restructured several major projects.

As designer and initiator of important end-use applications he is e.g. responsible for the system SA-7, the laboratory informaton management system of the chemicals unit of Merck KGaA in Darmstadt.

Since 2010 Dr. Mossack has been Honorary Consul of the Republic of Panama for the states of Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland and Baden-Württemberg.

Dr. Mossack studied pure and applied physics at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology U.M.I.S.T., where he received his PhD in the field of plasma physics in 1979.
